Academic scholarships are not need based and are annually renewable based on full-time enrollment and satisfactory academic progress. La&nbsp;Verne academic scholarships are awarded to first-time college students based on high school grades in college preparatory coursework only, and ACT\/SAT scores (if applicable) at the time of admission. La&nbsp;Verne academic scholarships are awarded to transfer students based on college GPA at the time of admission. Award requirements are available through the Office of Undergraduate Admission.<\/p>\n<h3>La\u00a0Verne Performance Scholarships<\/h3>\n<p>Please\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/artsci.laverne.edu\/scholarship\/\">click here<\/a>\u00a0for more information regarding the La\u00a0Verne Performance Scholarships for incoming freshman and transfer students.<\/p>\n<h3>International Student Scholastic Awards<\/h3>\n<p>To be eligible for consideration for an <a href=\"https:\/\/laverne.edu\/admission\/international\/scholarships\/\">International Student Scholarship Award<\/a>, a student must be admitted through the Office of Undergraduate Admission at the central La&nbsp;Verne campus and be enrolled as a full-time student. La\u00a0Verne International Student Scholastic Awards are awarded to first-time college students or to transfer students at the point of admission to La\u00a0Verne. Award requirements are available through the Office of Undergraduate Admission.<\/p>\n<h3>Honors<\/h3>\n<p>Upon completion of Honors 101, eligible students from the <a href=\"https:\/\/laverne.edu\/honors\">Honors Program<\/a> are able to participate in a study-away experience which combines their curricular and co-curricular experiences in Honors 102 during the subsequent spring semester. The Honors Program covers related airfare to the select study destination.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional La&nbsp;Verne Scholarship Opportunities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Landis Scholarship is available to continuing students, registered for fall 2020, and can be applied towards tuition and fees. The criteria for the scholarship are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have at least a 3.0 GPA<\/li>\n<li>Have engaged in leadership or community service activities during the past academic year<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students who meet these criteria are eligible for awards ranging from $500 &#8211; $2,500.\u00a0 To apply for this scholarship you must submit a\u00a0Leadership Assessment Form.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you have earned an undergraduate degree, you are not eligible to receive any institutional grants\/scholarships or any federal grants..
