Î÷¹ÏÓ°ÊÓ;Verne Receives Grant Funds for Hispanic STEM Success

The Î÷¹ÏÓ°ÊÓ;Verne has been selected to receive a Hispanic-Serving Institutions STEM Program grant by the U.S. Department of Education. The grant is in the amount of $999,901 for the first yearly budget period, which begins October 1. It is anticipated that the grant will be renewed for a total of five years. This is the second Title III grant that the Î÷¹ÏÓ°ÊÓ;Verne has received.

Î÷¹ÏÓ°ÊÓ;Verne Welcomes New Students as Campus Reopens

Hundreds of first-year students eagerly lined up on August 15 at the check-in booth outside of Citrus Hall, the newest housing facility on the Î÷¹ÏÓ°ÊÓ;Verne central campus, to collect their dorm keys. New students were finally moving into campus facilities for the first time since the pandemic necessitated remote-only instruction in March 2020.
