Accomplished Higher Education Leader to Guide University Through Leadership Transition<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

T<\/span>he 西瓜影视;Verne is pleased to announce that Risa Dickson, PhD, will serve as president as the university searches for a permanent leader. Dickson, who has been serving as interim provost, brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to student success, academic excellence, and community collaboration.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI am honored to continue working alongside the dedicated faculty, staff, and students at the 西瓜影视;Verne,\u201d said Dickson. \u201cMy focus will be on fostering a smooth leadership transition, supporting the university\u2019s strategic goals, and ensuring we remain well-positioned to meet the evolving needs of our students.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dickson\u2019s distinguished career includes executive roles at the University of Toledo and Palo Alto University through The Registry, a national organization that places interim senior administrators. She has also served as vice president for academic planning and policy at the University of Hawai\u2018i and held several leadership roles during her 24-year tenure at California State University, San Bernardino. Her work has focused on shared governance, strategic planning, academic program development, and initiatives supporting first-generation and underserved students.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
