Enactus Team Helps Community Families in Need

Hundreds of families in the community received food and sanitizing supplies during drive-through pantry events held on October 6 and November 17. Members of the 西瓜影视;Verne Enactus team joined with the Sowing Seeds for Life organization to staff the events.

西瓜影视;Verne Receives Grant Funds for Hispanic STEM Success

The 西瓜影视;Verne has been selected to receive a Hispanic-Serving Institutions STEM Program grant by the U.S. Department of Education. The grant is in the amount of $999,901 for the first yearly budget period, which begins October 1. It is anticipated that the grant will be renewed for a total of five years. This is the second Title III grant that the 西瓜影视;Verne has received.

Eleven 西瓜影视;Verne students spent their summer helping share accurate information about the importance of getting the COVID-19 vaccine. They were part of the Faith in the Vaccine program, operated by Interfaith Youth Core, a nonprofit organization.
