LaVerne Portal is your link to your student records. From LaVerne Portal, you enter a secure area where you can update your current address and telephone number, add and drop classes, view your schedule or look at your unofficial transcripts. In addition, LaVerne Portal will allow you to view and accept your financial aid award, set up payment arrangements, access the course catalog and search for classes.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

By clicking on the links below, you can view instructions that will walk you through some of the most popular uses of the LaVerne Portal.     2. For current users:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Username:<\/span><\/b> First part of your university email (excluding the @laverne.edu)<\/span>
      \n<\/span>Password: Same password as your university email.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Click the <\/span>Sign in<\/span><\/b> button<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    5. For new users, go to <\/span>New user Signup<\/span><\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Resetting La Verne Portal Password<\/h5>\n

      How to Check Grades\/View Unofficial Transcript<\/h5>\n
      \n

      Please note: We strongly recommend that you review\u00a0<\/span>all information<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>on your unofficial transcript prior to ordering an official transcript. Official transcripts print information \u201cas-is\u201d at the time your order is placed. All information that prints on your official transcript is displayed on your unofficial.<\/strong><\/p>\n

        1. Go to <\/span>La Verne Portal<\/span><\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
        2. Click Upgraded MyLaVerne<\/strong> under Quicklinks.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
        3. Under the Registrar list, click on\u00a0<\/span>View Unofficial Transcript<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        4. From the Transcript Level drop down, select\u00a0<\/span>All Levels<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        5. From the Transcript Type drop down, select\u00a0<\/span>Unofficial Transcript<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        6. Click Submit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          To print or save unofficial<\/strong>: Click the Print option on the right above the Unofficial Transcript. Depending on your computer, you may be able to go to the Print Preview of the page and save as a PDF. If you do not have that option, you will need print and scan it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

          How to Request an Incomplete Grade (INC)<\/h5>\n
          \n

          To request an INC grade, begin by communicating with your professor and explaining the special circumstances that have led to your request for an INC grade. If your instructor is open to considering your request for an INC grade, follow the steps below to submit your request.<\/p>\n

            \n
          1. Go to <\/span>La Verne Portal<\/span><\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
          2. Click Upgraded MyLaVerne<\/strong> under Quicklinks.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
          3. Under the Registrar list, click on Request Incomplete Grade.<\/b> A PDF form will popup.<\/li>\n
          4. Complete the form with your signature.<\/li>\n
          5. Request instructor approval. If they approved, they must sign the form physically or electronically.<\/li>\n
          6. Must be submitted to reg@laverne.edu for record keeping.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
            If the grade of incomplete (INC) was issued for the following terms:<\/strong><\/td>\nDeadline to submit coursework to remove “INC” grade is:<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
            January Interterm<\/td>\n45 calendar days from the last day of the session<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
            Session 1<\/td>\n45 calendar days from the last day of the session<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
            Session 2<\/td>\n45 calendar days from the last day of the session<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
            Full Session<\/td>\nLast day of the following Full Session<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

            TIP: If your contract has been approved, make sure that you read the final version carefully since your professor may have made changes to the information you filled out on the contract before approving your request.<\/p>\n

            If you have questions about the appropriate circumstances under which an INC grade should be granted or if you need to refer to the deadlines for completing an existing incomplete, please refer to the Course Catalog<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

              4. Click on Edit<\/strong> in the section that needs to be corrected.<\/span><\/li>\n
              5. Click Update<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
