Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault and Stalking (DDVSAS) Information

The Culturally Specific Campus GrantÌý (CSC) is funded by the U.S. Department of Justice through the Office of Violence Against Women (OVW) to provide support services for survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking (DDVSAS). It also strengthens ULV’s responseÌýeffortsÌýto these crimes and expandsÌýprevention educationÌýfor students, staff and faculty to help stop them before they occur. The CSC grant has allowed us to create a Coordinated Community Response Team (CCRT) that brings together campus departments and local community partners to prevent and respond to DDVSAS.

Our CCRT works collaboratively to:
•ÌýStrengthen prevention education and awareness across campus
•ÌýImprove how ULV responds to disclosures and reports of harm
•ÌýEnsure students have access to traumainformed, survivor centered support
•ÌýReview and enhance policies, procedures and trainings related to DDVSAS
•ÌýBuild strong partnerships with off campus advocacy agencies, law enforcement and legal resources

Our Mission Statement

The CCRT unites campus and community resources to address and prevent domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking. Through trauma-informed support and coordinated response, we empower those impacted by violence and promote a safe and responsive campus environment.

Our ÌýValues
